Mr. Pham Xuan Quang
Quang X. Pham is the author of the forthcoming memoir, A SENSE OF DUTY: MY FATHER, MY AMERICAN JOURNEY (Ballantine Books; April 12, 2005.) At the age of ten, he came to the United States with his mother and sisters during the fall of Saigon. His father, a South Vietnamese Air Force pilot, was incarcerated for more than twelve years in communist reeducation camps. 

After graduating from UCLA and completing Marine Corps Officer Candidate School, Quang served as a helicopter pilot in Operation Desert Storm. A year later he deployed on the USS Tarawa with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit to the Persian Gulf, and flew U.N. personnel into Somalia. After the Marines he was an Executive with QTC Medical Services and CEO of Lathian Systems, a pharmaceutical sales company he founded. 

Quang lives in Orange County, California, with his wife Shannon. He has given many speeches and has appeared on numerous radio and television shows for entrepreneurial excellence, post-9/11 interviews, and reflections on Vietnam. He volunteers his time on the boards of charitable organizations and has received a number of awards. He is also exploring opportunities for his next company and writing a book about the drug industry. Visit his web site at
